Nervous system-এর structural & functional unit কে neurone বলা হয়। Neurone -সুস্থ্যতার জন্য অক্সিজেন ও গ্লুকোজ-এর অব্যাহত সরবরাহ প্রয়োজন।

যে system-এর মাধ্যমে respiration প্রক্রিয়া সম্পন্ন হয় তাকে respiratory system বলে।

ENDOCRINE GLANDS:
দেহে অবস্থিত যে সকল gland নালীবিহীন, তাদেরকে endocrine gland বলা হয়। Endocrine gland কর্তৃক নিঃসৃত জৈবরাসায়নিক পদার্থের নাম ‘hormone’। নিঃসৃত ‘hormone’ সরাসরি রক্তপ্রবাহে মিশ্রিত হয়ে দেহের নির্দিষ্ট স্থানে পৌঁছে গুরত্বপূর্ণ কার্যাবলী সম্পাদন করে থাকে ।

যে system মুত্র তৈরী ও নিঃসরণ করে তাকে urinary system বলে।

NEPHRON:
Kideny অসংখ্য ছোট ছোট একক দ্বারা তৈরী। এই এককগুলিকে nephron বলা হয়। এরা kidney-র structural ও functional unit। প্রতি kidney তে এদের সংখ্যা ১ মিলিয়ন (১০ লাখ)।
