The Humerus :
The humerus is the 3rd bone of the upper extremity. It is the long bone. It has two end and one shaft.
It has two ends :
- 1) upper end
- 2) lower end
1. Upper end has :
- 1) Head of the humerus
- 2) Greater tuberosity
- 3) Lesser tuberosity
- 4) Anatomical neck
- 5) Surgical neck
- 6) Bicipital grove
2. Lower end has two parts :
- I) Articular part
- II) Non-articular part
I. Articular part has :
- 1) Capitulum
- 2) Trochlea
II. Non articular part has :
- 1) Medial epicondyle
- 2) Lateral epicondyle
- 3) Medial supra condyler ridge
- 4) lateral supra condyler ridge
- 5) Olecranon fossa
- 6) Coronoid fossa
- 7) Radial fossa

Shaft or Body :
Shaft has One Tubersity. It’s name Deltoid tubersity.
Shaft has three border and three-surface
Three border :
- 1) Anterior border
- 2) Media! border
- 3) Lateral border
Three surface :
- 1) Antero medial surface
- 2) Antero lateral surface
- 3) Posterior surface.
